I am a computer scientist and I enjoy building software, recently creating some mobile applications [German].

I have studied computer science with minor field of study philosophy. In computer science, I am specialized in artificial intelligence and distributed systems in general. My master thesis was about multiagent systems and production planning (German).

There are great pieces of software out there, too many to list them all, but these I consider to be special:

• Dwarf Fortress - the depth of this game is hard to beat
• Nethack - one of the hardest and most inspiring games I've encountered
• Renoise - create music with a modern tracker
• Emacs - edit your files and do a lot of other stuff
• Arch Linux - a great Linux distro
